The State Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads is quickly and effectively implementing the project for the construction of internal roads in Fuzuli city in accordance with the instruction of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
As part of the first stage of the project, the construction of 12 streets with a total length of 18.5 kilometers is underway.
At this stage, unsuitable soil is being excavated and then replaced with quality material, after which backfilling and the formation of a new earth embankment are carried out. Next, a leveling layer is laid, and both the lower and upper layers of the foundation are constructed. On sections with a completed road foundation, asphalt concrete pavement is being laid.
The project also includes the installation of curbstones along the sidewalks, the paving of sidewalks with cobblestones, and the installation of lighting poles. In addition, new green areas are being created, and shrubs and trees are being planted.
Furthermore, work is underway along the streets to lay communication networks, including water supply, sewage, and stormwater pipes, as well as gas, telecommunications, and electrical lines, in Fuzuli city.
All work is being carried out in accordance with the applicable construction standards and regulations. To ensure the timely completion of work according to the approved schedule, the necessary number of workers is being brought to the construction site.
To note, within the framework of the second stage of the construction of internal roads in Fuzuli city, work has been completed by 30 percent according to the "I State Program on the Great Return to the Liberated Territories of Azerbaijan".
